Le posate da pic-nic di Pharrel Williams fatte con i CD. Il collettivo I Am Other della popstar americana, assieme a Pentatonic, azienda leader nell’economia circolare, ha prodotto un set ipercolorato, riciclato e riciclabile per insegnarci a fare a meno della plastica monouso.
Il progetto si chiama Pebble e consiste in un set di posate per i pasti fuori casa. Un guscio con la forma di ciottolo (cui si riferisce il nome) contiene un cucchiaio, una forchetta, un coltello, bacchette e una cannuccia. Tutto si ripiega e smonta per minimizzare l’ingombro.
Grande protagonista la plastica riciclata: la maggior parte del materiale usato arriva dalla grande dismissione di policarbonato derivante da CD, DVD e packaging alimentare. E tutto è trattato per poter essere riciclato, oltre che essere lavato in lavastoviglie.
Il kit da pasto si presenta come un mix di colori pastello per le impugnature a contrasto con le parti metalliche, realizzate in acciaio anodizzato rivestito in titanio iridescente.
Picnic cutlery by Pharrel Williams are made with the CDs. The organization I Am Other owned by the american popstar, together with Pentatonic, leader in the circular economy, has produced a hyper-colored, recycled and recyclable set to teach us to do without the disposable plastic.
The project is called Pebble and consists of a set of cutlery for the outside meals. A pebble-shaped shell (to which the name refers) contains a spoon, a fork, a knife, chopsticks and a straw. Everything folds up and dismantles to minimize the volume.
Great protagonist of recycled plastic: most of the material used comes from the large disposal of polycarbonate deriving from CDs, DVDs and food packaging. And everything is treated to be recycled, as well as being washed in the dishwasher.
The meal kit is presented as a mix of pastel colours for the handles in contrast with the metallic parts, realized in anodized steel covered by iridescent titanium.
