Ovviamente in chiave glamour.

Even small accessories can brighten up our daily life. Obviously in a glamorous key. Hermès knows this well, and has entrusted Philippe Cramer with the study of a bracelet (Duo) and a key ring (Arc-en-Ciel) that fully reflect the philosophy of the famous Parisian brand.

The customer can have fun choosing and combining at will (already in the online purchase) strips of leather with triple color combination: above, below and edge. In the case of the bracelet, the two bands are joined by a gold clip (a solution that makes it reversible), while in the second case a screw is used.

In both products, the Swiss designer has managed to freshly interpret the identity of thick leather, or the DNA of Hermès, letting its beauty shine through the dyeing.

For gossip, the bracelet was on sale on the maison’s website for € 250 and has already been sold out…

STREET ART | BUENOS AIRES

He is the author of various permanent installations along Avenida General Paz, at the points where this urban overpass creates complicated tangles in correspondence with other arteries of Buenos Aires. More precisely, Ron’s interventions, which took place with public funding, concern the background of multiple carriageways. The artist wanted to magically change the place, which people explore, perceive in an unusual key, establishing a completely new interaction on the visual level.

Here Ron temporarily abandons his own figurative world in favor of an abstract-geometric mood. Black or light gray stripes define highly chromatic areas, almost reflecting the vehicular dynamism that lies above.

FURNITURE / MILANO DESIGN CITY

The two weeks of the Milano Design City, between September and October, represented a creative impulse in a particularly dark historical context, capable of curbing even the creative ferments. The various presentations around the city, almost entirely corporate-national, were not crowded and excluded any form of alternative planning. Yet they reaffirmed the resilience typical of the Lombard capital, which wants to reaffirm its global centrality in design and fashion.

Emblematic in this sense was the installation by Lapalma in the recently built Gorani square. The white architecture of the site was the backdrop to a cluster of colorful Kipu poufs, designed by Anderssen & Voll, like cheerful pebbles on a river, dressed in pink, burgundy and gray shades.

INTERIOR | ATELIER DIALECT

The architectural research of the Belgian studio Dialect is based on rigorous forms but also on the attention to details and atmospheres. Rather than arriving at minimalism, that approach gives shape to a sensual vision of contemporaneity.

In this sense, the project for a large bathroom for a house in Antwerp is significant, integrated – indeed, which melts into it – with the sleeping area. A dilated space, very bright, in which different materials, including daring ones, coexist: for example, the steel of the tub and the retro white tiles.

Some walls are painted with a particular type of green with a tiny percentage of yellow. In addition to being direct in some perspective, its perception also occurs indirectly, that is, in its reflection on light surfaces. The solution of this shaded, magical, elusive, light color introduces a sophisticated way of conceiving and using the solid color.
