SORELLE DIVERSE

FURNITURE | TOM HANCOCKS

Different sisters – In the crowded panorama of contemporary furniture, few novelties take on real interest. Among these we certainly find the Sister Chair collection (chair, armchairs and sofa), designed by Tom Hancocks, a designer based in New York, and produced by Dowel Jones, a small company located in Richmond (Australia), of which the designer himself is a native.

The tubular metal structure is left exposed, becoming a true element of identity, and painted with epoxy powders. The fabric, supplied by Kvadrat, is chosen by the customer based on a very wide range of solid colors. Not only that: in the same item, symmetrically divided, two different colors can be matched.

Personalization takes place through a funny combinatorial operation, which makes one item different from another, of which the color, from the darkest to the brightest, is the protagonist.
