Rigore, ma non minimalismo. Anzi, l’impiego pervasivo del nero in questa casa unifamiliare in Polonia genera un effetto addirittura massimalista.
E coraggiosissimo, poiché nel gusto e nell’immaginario collettivo nessuno sognerebbe mai di usare quella tinta in uno spazio abitativo. Il nostro interesse per questo lavoro deriva da due aspetti: lo sdoganamento del nero nell’interior design e per la gestione di quello stesso colore in ogni micro-scena della casa.
L’impegno estetico dello studio Tamizo Architects, con base a Varsavia e a Lodz, è diretto a dimostrare che il nero non è mai assoluto. Al contrario, ne esistono tante modulazioni, in relazione ai materiali, alle masse e all’incidenza sulle superfici dei diversi tipi di luce.
L’effetto complessivo è quello di uno spazio vellutato, di un’atmosfera perfino lieve, dove il nero viene interrotto qua e là da presenze chiare (ad esempio il divano beige e i pavimenti grigio chiaro).
Life in total black – Rigor, but not minimalism. Indeed, the pervasive use of black in this single-family house in Poland generates an even maximalist effect.
And very courageous, since in taste and in the collective imagination no one would ever dream of using that color in a living space. Our interest in this work derives from two aspects: the clearance of black in interior design and the management of that same color in every micro-scene of the house.
The aesthetic commitment of the Tamizo Architects studio, based in Warsaw and Lodz, is aimed at demonstrating that black is never absolute. On the contrary, there are many modulations, in relation to the materials, the masses and the incidence on the surfaces of the different types of light.
The overall effect is that of a velvety space, with an even warm atmosphere, where black is interrupted here and there by light presences (for example the beige sofa and light gray floors).
