Dopo la poltrona, le scarpe. Torniamo a parlare di Leo Colacicco, designer pugliese, per via di una nuova, sorprendente creazione.
A fine ottobre StockX, il più grande portale al mondo di vendita e rivendita di scarpe e abiti, ha lanciato tre modelli speciali di Nike, rivestite in crochet, risultato della collaborazione con lo stesso Colacicco, proprietario del marchio LC23.
L’idea parte dal concetto della classica “coperta delle nonne”, realizzata con scacchi coloratissimi fatti a mano e cuciti fra loro. L’autore racconta che «durante il primo lockdown ho avuto la possibilità di provare la customizzazione soprattutto delle scarpe.
Abbiamo unito elementi diversi, tra suole di un modello classico e tomaia di uno sportivo, doppi lacci e personalizzazioni per creare pezzi esclusivi. È un mondo in grande espansione e consente di esprimere la nostra creatività».
Ogni esemplare richiede venti ore di lavorazione, precisione al millimetro e tanta, tanta libertà nell’uso dei colori. Dei modelli bizzarri tanto da rivelarsi unisex.

At the end of October StockX, the largest portal in the world for the sale and resale of shoes and clothes, launched three special Nike models, covered in crochet, the result of the collaboration with Colacicco himself, owner of the LC23 brand.
The idea starts from the concept of the classic “grandmother’s blanket”, made with craft colorful chess pieces sewn together. The author says that «during the first lockdown I had the opportunity to try the customization especially of the shoes. We have combined different elements, between the soles of a classic model and the upper of a sports one, double laces and customizations to create exclusive pieces. It is a world in great expansion and allows us to express our creativity».
Each piece requires twenty hours of work, precision to the millimeter and a lot, a lot of freedom in the use of colors. Bizarre models to the point of being unisex.
