PACKAGING | OCELOT CHOCOLATE

Ocelot Chocolate è una piccola impresa, con sede a Edimburgo, in Scozia, ed è gestita da una giovane coppia locale. A dieci anni dall’apertura, Matt e Ish vantano un laboratorio artigianale e un team che aiuta a spedire il cioccolato fondente in tutto il mondo. I titolari utilizzano solo ingredienti etici e mirano a rispecchiarlo con molta chiarezza nelle loro scelte visive.

Gli imballaggi di Ocelot sono realizzati nel Regno Unito. Sono gli stessi Matt e Ish a progettare la maggior parte delle confezioni. Non a caso, Ish ha studiato illustrazione alla scuola d’arte e Matt ha sempre amato l’arte e il design grafico: quindi questa è una parte estremamente importante della loro attività.

Il packaging delle tavolette è caratterizzato da geometrie elementari e da colori vivaci, che assieme generano immagini nette e incisive, capaci di identificare sia il contenuto specifico sia il marchio a livello mediatico.

Chocolate changes skin – Ocelot Chocolate is a small business, based in Edinburgh, Scotland, and is run by a young local couple. Ten years after opening, Matt and Ish have an artisan workshop and a team that helps ship dark chocolate around the world. The owners use only ethical ingredients and aim to reflect this very clearly in their visual choices.

Ocelot’s packaging is made in the UK. Matt and Ish themselves design most of the packaging. Not surprisingly, Ish studied illustration in art school and Matt has always loved art and graphic design – so this is a hugely important part of their business.

The packaging of the tablets is characterized by elementary geometries and bright colours, which together generate sharp and incisive images, capable of identifying both the specific content and the brand at a media level.
