Per Ikea, colosso mondiale del mobile low cost, l’inizio del 2024 è contrassegnato da un’iniziativa insolita. Sebbene costantemente impegnata nell’interpretazione dei gusti del presente, l’azienda svedese ha deciso di rilanciare la collezione Nytillverkad. Caratterizzati da soluzioni “semplici, funzionali e giocose”, i mobili, la biancheria da letto e gli accessori intendono rendere omaggio ai pezzi iconici Ikea del passato in linea con l’attuale diffuso interesse per il design vintage.
Sulla base di una ricerca d’archivio, vengono riproposti al suo vastissimo pubblico gli elementi d’arredo del periodo ’60-’70, quelli che hanno contrassegnato la rivoluzione dell’ambiente domestico in chiave più dinamica, futuristica e pop.
Ciò accade però con una filtro tutto 2K: i colori squillanti. La prerogativa di Ikea, infatti, è quella di imprimere alla collezione – dagli arredi ai complementi, fino agli elementi più decorativi – un groove ottimistico, di cui quest’epoca ha sicuramente bisogno.

Although constantly engaged in interpreting the tastes of the present, the Swedish company has decided to relaunch the Nytillverkad collection. Featuring “simple, functional and playful” solutions, the furniture, bedding and accessories aim to pay homage to iconic Ikea pieces of the past in line with the current widespread interest in vintage design.
On the basis of archive research, the furnishing elements of the 60s and 70s period are proposed to its vast audience, those that marked the revolution of the domestic environment in a more dynamic, futuristic and pop key.
However, this happens with an all 2K filter: the shrill colors. Ikea’s prerogative, in fact, is to give the collection – from furnishings to accessories, up to the more decorative elements – an optimistic groove, which this era certainly needs.
