Pilot è un marchio giapponese di prodotti per la scrittura noto per le sue tecniche di lavorazione precise e accurate e per le eccellenti prestazioni. Il primo concept store di Pilot in Corea, a Seongdong-Gu, si è concentrato sull’esperienza emotiva derivante dalla tecnicità superiore della penna. Esso si è presentato soprattutto come un punto di aggregazione, che andasse al di là del semplice gesto della compravendita.
Il titolo “Precious Horse Collection Office” offre una varietà di “pen experience” in uno spazio color turchese, con contenitori laccati in blu polvere. L’arredo prevede forme squadrate e rigide, che da un lato strizzano l’occhio allo stile di Memphis e dall’altro reinterpretano certe soluzioni tipiche degli uffici tradizionali. Nello store, progettato da Maumstudio, vengono forniti vari tipi di carta, con diverse trame: il cliente può sperimentare la scrittura in base al tipo di punta, di inchiostro e di colore.

The title “Precious Horse Collection Office” offers a variety of “pen experiences” in a turquoise-colored space, with containers lacquered in powder blue. The furnishings include square and rigid shapes, which on the one hand wink at the Memphis style and on the other reinterpret certain solutions typical of traditional offices. In the store, designed by Maumstudio, various types of paper are supplied, with different textures: the customer can experiment with writing based on the type of tip, ink and colour.
