BabelStudio si è occupato della ristrutturazione di questo appartamento nel centro storico di Bilbao, situato in un piccolo spazio di 60 mq per quattro persone.
Per ottenere il massimo da ciascuno dei centimetri a disposizione, gli architetti hanno puntato innanzitutto sulla creazione di un open space, per generare flussi di movimento, pur mantenendo alvei di privacy: «Il concept progettuale si basa sull’efficienza e la versatilità degli spazi, sulla reinterpretazione delle zone giorno e notte tradizionalmente prestabilite e sull’inserimento di soluzioni creative di contenimento», sottolineano.
Il secondo aspetto vincente risiede nella selezione cromatica. I progettisti hanno individuato una delicata palette di bianchi cromatici, ovvero un match di tonalità delicatissime, appartenenti a tinte molto diverse. La più sofisticata è sicuramente il rosa applicato alle strutture lignee originali.
The house of whites – BabelStudio took care of the renovation of this apartment in the historic center of Bilbao, located in a small space of 60 sqm for four people.
To get the most out of each of the centimeters available, the architects focused first and foremost on the creation of an open space, to generate flows of movement, while maintaining pockets of privacy: «The design concept is based on the efficiency and versatility of the spaces, on the reinterpretation of traditionally pre-established living and sleeping areas and on the inclusion of creative containment solutions”, they underline.
The second winning aspect lies in the color selection. The designers have identified a delicate palette of chromatic whites, that is, a match of very delicate shades, belonging to very different shades. The most sophisticated is certainly the pink applied to the original wooden structures.
