In questo recente progetto, Burr Studio ha implementato una serie di soluzioni di dettaglio per trasformare un ex ufficio in una casa. Contraddistinti dalla loro materialità – legnosa o metallica – i nuovi oggetti riempiono aperture e spazi, appesi a muri portanti o appoggiati su superfici dure, creando una gerarchia visiva e definendo le diverse zone di questo appartamento a Madrid.

Ma il nostro interesse, ovviamente, ricade sulle scelte cromatiche, che stavolta appaiono davvero sorprendenti. L’involucro rimane bianco, quasi a fare da sfondo alle nuove presenze di organizzazione dello spazio. Qui rileviamo un accostamento tra due colori prima inimmaginabile: il blu chiaro, applicato alle superfici metalliche, e l’ocra, ottenuto lasciando a vista il materiale delle opere lignee.

Un match audace, tutt’altro che scontato, che conferma l’infinita libertà in cui si muovono i linguaggi contemporanei.

An unhead of contrast – In this recent project, Burr Studio implemented a series of detail solutions to transform a former office into a home. Distinguished by their materiality – woody or metallic – the new objects fill openings and spaces, hanging from load-bearing walls or resting on hard surfaces, creating a visual hierarchy and defining the different areas of this apartment in Madrid.

But our interest, obviously, falls on the color choices, which this time appear truly surprising. The casing remains white, almost as a backdrop to the new presences of organization of the space. Here we note a previously unimaginable combination between two colours: light blue, applied to metal surfaces, and ocher, obtained by leaving the material of the wooden works visible.

A bold match, anything but predictable, which confirms the infinite freedom in which contemporary languages move.
